Collection: Sport Weight Peruvian Highland Yarn

My Peruvian Highland yarn base was chosen for its durability, softness and affordability, this non-superwash wool yarn is a terrific choice for both long-lived heirloom projects that want a beautiful stitch definition and hard-wearing daily use items. It also felts wonderfully. Peruvian Highland wool comes from Peruvian sheep which have been crossed with Corriedale and Merino sheep to create a sturdy, hard-wearing yarn that still is quite soft.

My color stories are pulled from my recollections of the holidays and seasons throughout my life. Just like memories are images layered through with emotions and fragrances, my colorways are built with layers of pigment that vary in their intensity and absorption.

I've paired groups of semi-solid layered tonals with matching variegated colorways. I hope they help evoke your visions of the holidays and seasons too!
